Description: In many cultures and lands, spices are not just for taste but also for their potent effects. Adventurers who take the time to spice their meals can gain minor benefits that last for 8 hours. Each spice grants a specific boon, but only one spice can be active at a time per individual.
Procedure: To spice rations or a meal, a character must use the Craft (culinary), or Profession (cook) skill and have access to the desired spice. The base DC is 10, though certain rare spices might require a higher DC at GM discretion. Spicing a meal takes 10 minutes.
Limitations: The effects of the spices do not stack with other similar bonuses, such as those from spells or other consumable items. If a character consumes a meal spiced with a different spice before the 8-hour duration ends, the original effect ends, and the new one takes its place.
