Fall is in the air! It's time for a trail party to clean up the overgrown section of the Brae Burn trail. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors and learn a little bit about native and invasive species.
The official "kick off" to the work party will be happening on Saturday, October 28th. We will be removing downed wood and debris. Although the priority is on removing the debris, there are invasive species that are taking over and we will remove as time allows.
Want to learn more about the invasive species in our area? Check out our Invasive Species slide show.
Please join us from 8:00-11:00am or 1:00-4:00pm to lend a hand and meet your neighbors at the trailhead located between 4190 and 4210 Brae Burn Drive with garden tools in hand!
Adults, high school and middle school aged students. For safety of all, please leave the little ones home.
Do you need to complete community service hours or service learning projects? If so, do we have a deal for you!
