A very plausible though unexplored hypothesis is that the mismatch between what the ear hears and what the eye sees causes a discomfort in the area postrema in the brain, responsible for inducing vomiting when toxins are detected. This is a basic evolutionary reflex, which assumes that a discordance in perception is due to a poisoning, and triggers vomiting to clear the supposed poison. This is usually associated with motion sickness caused by motion that is seen but not felt. The response to dubbed audiovisual media is rarely quite as violent as to cause a full-fledged evacuation of stomach contents, but is symptomatic of the same kind of phenomenon.
