Hemlock Grove was a great project for localization, because the screen adaptation of the novel was intentionally left without any relation to a specific time or place; the film Wanderlust on the other hand was difficult to localize because it contained very specific references to events, places, and things, as well as a lot of idiomatic American humour - so much so that the project was pulled from localization in Québec. It was, however, dubbed in France as Peace, Love et plus si affinités
