"The Skeleton in the Garter Belt and Nylons" was first published in January of 1992 and then several years later as well. I was paid $150 each time the story was used.

It was a case I worked in the middle 1970's in Portland Oregon, near SE Hawthorne Street, when I worked as a homicide detective with PPB. A horror story, I had to unfortunately witness and a case that was never resolved to my satisfaction.
