Sub Domain C: Campus Ministry Programs

Rationale:

As Campus Minister for Liturgy, I work closely with class leaders to develop the Freshman Family Liturgy, Sophomore Family Liturgy, the Junior Ring Mass, and the Mother and Son Senior Mass.

In addition, I am responsible for the design and execution of the (in primarily collaboration with Mary Hassett, Fr LaSalle Hallissey, OP, and Patty Crane) Mass of the Holy Spirit, Mass for the Solemnity of All Saints, Thanksgiving Prayer Service, Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Ash Wednesday Prayer Service, Lenten Reconciliation Service, Holy Week Prayer Service, Founder's Day Mass/Saint La Salle Liturgy, and the Baccalaureate Mass.

As the celebration of the liturgical year is one way to catechize the community, I developed a Contemporary Stations of the Cross for our Lenten observance which coincided with photos of modern day Social Justice issues affixed to crosses. I also took a decidedly 'post-modern' look at Advent and had my classes develop Advent Haikus to help remind us of the need to slow down, look around, and count our pre-Christmas blessings!

In addition, I have also been an active participants in Kairos (#92) as a leader, in Venaver Salinas as a leader, on the Sophomore Immersion Program (SIP) as a classroom teacher-leader, and the Freshman Retreat also as a leader. This upcoming year, I am being asked to direct Kairos (#99).
