Deepak Kumar

I am Dr. Deepak Kumar. My area of expertise is development of novel solutions to the challenging problems in field of document image processing. My algorithms have won multiple international competitions in the field of document image processing. The theories and concepts of pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, image processing and computer vision are used to develop the algorithms. My hierarchical clustering method to cluster the data has won the best paper award in a journal. The algorithms simulation videos are available in cluster section.

I have expertise in development of solutions in embedded systems and machine vision systems. I have filed a patent on porting a device from source to destination. Presently, I am working on developing solutions to IoT mainly concentrating on social problems and specifically on health care related problems, which is more relevant.

Obstacle detection using single camera video is demonstrated below. The white patches on the right side of the frame shows the possible obstacles in the scene.
