Кто мы

Прибытие Большой алии из бывшего СССР было для Израиля благословением, однако сами новоприбывшие по-прежнему сталкиваются с серьезными экономическими и социальными проблемами, такими как безработица или низкооплачиваемая работа не по специальности;

41% новоприбывших существуют на минимальную заработную плату,

тогда как среди коренных израильтян этот показатель достигает лишь 13%.

36% репатриантов-подростков бросают школу,

что, в свою очередь, способствует развитию криминогенных

и антисоциальных тенденций в иммигрантской молодежной среде.

Дети-репатрианты очень часто ощущают отчужденность,

неприятие со стороны общества и

отсутствие четкой самоидентификации.

В 2001 году педагоги и профессионалы в социальной сфере, выходцы из СНГ и уроженцы страны, решили создать организацию, которая смогла бы оказывать действенную помощь детям и подросткам – новым репатриантам в деле социальной интеграции в израильском обществе. Так родилась Израильская ассоциация в поддержку детей репатриантов, которая поставила перед собой следующие задачи:

поддержка долгосрочных и эффективных программ на школьной и общинной основе, направленных на решение самых насущных проблем детей и подростков - репатриантов, таких как: социальная интеграция, успеваемость в учебе и развитие лидерских навыков;

помощь детям - репатриантам и их семьям в разъяснении и в обеспечении их законных прав в тех случаях, когда соответствующие инстанции недостаточно в них осведомлены или нарушают их;

усиление израильской демократии путем установления связей между молодыми репатриантами и другими общинами в Израиле и в мире;

распространение информации и правозащитная деятельность, в том числе в индивидуальных случаях, представление интересов детей в Израиле на местном и общегосударственном уровне, проведение кампаний для повышения осведомленности общественности и влияния на принятие решений в общественной сфере.

Одним словом – помочь детям воплотить свою мечту в своей стране.
