*This week we will be talking about connecting our "Easy Digi" kits to our

radios and computers.  There is also a popular mod to the circuit that lets

the computer key the radio in a way that requires no connection to the

serial or parallel ports.*

*In previous meetings members of the Thursday night group have assembled a

kit called the "Easy Digi".  *

*This kit is an interface that lets you connect your  ham transceiver to

your computer for the purpose of digital communications.  Some time ago

(before our new beautiful classroom was constructed) Mark N2OJD did a demo

on the "FLDigi" software.  This is one of the most popular software

packages available for digital communications.  Maybe we can run another

demo this week?? Mark??  I will try real hard to get mine done but I will

be connecting it to some sort of VHF\UHF HT.  *
