SYMPOSIUM
1. The symposium is a practical examination that will evaluate the following competences:
Physician-Community Problem Solver
Wholistic Clinician
Physician-Researcher
Physician-Educator
Physician- Manager
2. Within the time alloted, the students are expected to be able to present clearly, adequately, effectively, and efficiently the following:
An Overview and Personal Perspective of a Health Problem in the Community
A Community Health Program with emphasis on prevention
A Public Health Education on Prevention and Early Detection
A Discussion of a Clinical Management Process
A Discussion of a Psychosocial Issue
A Discussion of a Bioethical Issue
A Discussion of a Medicolegal Issue
A Discussion of a Research Issue
3. A symposium will be held every month, after a 3-5 week course.
4. The symposium will be held near the end of a course.
