We don't need no stink'n surgery

City police were also alerted Wednesday that a 48-year-old Newberry woman was not at the local hospital for a scheduled surgery. Officers located the seemingly intoxicated woman at a downtown drinking establishment hoisting a few with a friend.

The woman said she felt fine and did not feel like having an operation and police closed the books on this matter.
