Sault Police were called to the International Bridge on two separate occasions Wednesday to investigate parked vehicle in a secret restricted area established by federal authorities.
In one incident, police arrived to find there were a number of workers toiling on the nearby railroad tracks who had left their vehicles in the forbidden zone.
In the second incident, two people were located in a parked vehicle at this location who were not related to the work project. The pair explained their vehicle had overheated and they had parked in the shade of the bridge hoping that would hasten the cooling process. Police informed them they were in the restricted area even though there were no signs there to explain that designation prompting the pair to move.
