At 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the Days Inn Hotel where an intoxicated man had entered the hotel lobby, poured himself a cup of coffee, and then went to sleep on a couch. The front desk clerk told police she did not believe he had a room at the hotel. Officers awoke the man who confirmed he was not an actual guest of the hotel. A cab was called to bring the man to his home in Dafter.
