Criminals need cops too

Chippewa County Sheriff Deputies were called to a Kinross residence on Wednesday to investigate a complaint of harassing text messages. In speaking with the people at that location, deputies discovered one of them was wanted on outstanding warrants out of Marquette.  

Michael Carter, 18, of Gwinn was arrested on the force of the warrant and booked in the Chippewa County Jail.
