Drinking while waiting to sober up

On Saturday at 1 p.m Sault Police were alerted to a suspicious person by a local party store employee. The intoxicated man was located at a Sault gas station where officers took away his keys and told him to pick them up at the police desk when he was sober. Some 30 minutes later he arrived at the Sault desk and was even more intoxicated. Officers arrested Freddi Zabel, 55, of Sault, ON, for disorderly person and lodged him in the Chippewa County Jail.
