School banking is supported as a PTA activity at Chango Elementary. Parents/Caregivers/Guardians provide the platform in school for it to happen. Join in, learn how to save and help us deliver an important real-life Math lesson every week.

School Banking - Helping students learn to save!

CAP COM partners with Chango to offer School Banking and promote financial literacy. School Bankers receive a welcome kit including a t-shirt, deposit pouch, and savings register. They also get pencils and stickers every time they deposit. With a prize after every 5'!

The deposits are collected on Wednesday, school schedule permitting, and deposited into your child's account. The amount they deposit doesn't matter and can be cash or check.

How does my child benefit?

• Kids start early. Children learn the value of saving and form good financial habits, and responsible for that money deposit from 1st grade onward.

• Students earn money. Kids can earn up to $60 FREE money with our Great Grades and Reading Programs^{. You just need to deposit regularly throughout the school year}

• Fun contests, cool prizes. School Bankers can earn prizes for making deposits

• Scholarship opportunities. CAP COM offers numerous scholarships and awards to both students and educators

• Money for your school. If we sign up new members through Sept and Oct the school benefits too with a cash boost to PTA!
