Dear Colleague (Former GSI Fellow):
In my twilight years, I am sharing with you one legacy that I want to leave behind for my cancer patients – the Cancer Crusaders Club. I conducted the first virtual meeting of the Cancer Crusaders Club, its 33rd Annual Christmas Get-together, last December 6, 2020. I am happy to get 50 cancer patients physical attendees and a total of 100 attendees inclusive of relatives helping in the Zoom set-up and watching the proceedings. Happy to have conducted the Zoom successfully with just the help of my daughter with no professional help.
I uploaded the proceedings to the Google Site; YouTube and Facebook page.
I invite and suggest you take a look at the proceedings in the Google Site first --- https://sites.google.com/site/cancercrusadersclub/proceedings-of-33rd-cancer-crusaders-club-annual-christmas-get-together
The links to the YouTube and Facebook page are seen in the Google Site. The proceedings in the YouTube and Facebook are contained in a playlist to enable one to watch continuously.
Feel free to ask questions; to give feedback; and if you want, to adopt my template of psychosocial support group for cancer patients (there is no copyright). Remember, the management of cancer patients is both medical and psychosocial, with the latter one being more important in the end or in the long run.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Dr Rey
