Why the 3 songs
My Prayer - to open or start the virtual get-together of Cancer Crusaders - praying to God to be our eyes; watch us where we will go; guide us; lead us where we should be. to a place where we will be safe. Praying for pain and sorrow to be ended in this world and every heart that's broken to be mended. To have faith, hope and love.
THE PRAYER- Celine Dion & Josh Groban I pray you'll be our eyes And watch us where we go And help us to be wise In times when we don't know Let this be our prayer When we lose our way Lead us to a place Guide us with your grace To a place where we'll be safe. I pray we'll find your light I pray we'll find your light And hold it in our hearts And hold it in our hearts When stars go out each night When the stars go out each night Remind us where you are. Oohhh.... Let this be our prayer Let this be our prayer When shadows fill our day When shadows fill our day Lead us to a place Guide us with your grace To a place where we'll be safe. A world where pain and sorrow will be ended And every heart that's broken will be mended And we'll remember we are all God's children Reaching out to touch you Reaching to the sky. We ask that life be kind We ask that life be kind And watch us from above And watch us from above We hope each soul will find We hope each soul will find Another soul to love Another soul to love. Let this be our prayer Let this be our prayer Just like every child. Just like every child. Needs to find a place Guide us with your grace. With your grace Give us faith so we'll be safe Needs to find a place Guide us with your grace. Give us faith so we'll be safe
You're Gonna Be Okay - motivating all Cancer Crusaders to be strong and keep on fighting; never lose hope; hold on, don't let go; put one foot in front of the other; will get through it; don't give up; don't give in; just follow the light in the darkness (advices to be given by co-Cancer Crusaders - sharers and ROJoson) - YOU'RE GONNA BE OKAY.
I know it's all you've got to just, be strong
And it's a fight just to keep it together, together
I know you think, that you are too far gone
But hope is never lost
Hope is never lost
Hold on, don't let go
Hold on, don't let go
Just take, one step, closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You'll, get through this
Just follow the light in the darkness
You're gonna be ok
I know your heart is heavy from those nights
Just remember that you're a fighter, a fighter
You never know just what tomorrow holds
And you're stronger than you know
Stronger than you know
Hold on, don't let go
Hold on, don't let go
Just take, one step, closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You'll, get through this
Just follow the light in the darkness
One step, closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You'll, get through this
Just follow the light in the darkness
You're gonna be ok
And when the night, is closing in
Don't give up and don't give in
This won't last, it's not the end, it's not the end
You're gonna be ok
When the night, is closing in
Don't give up and don't give in
This won't last, it's not the end, it's not the end
You're gonna be ok
My Way - to end the virtual get-together of Cancer Crusaders - to be reminded of the messages in this song at the end of a battle (cancer and life); that one has tried his / her best to live a life that's full (in the midst of cancer); that one has traveled each and every highway, planned each charted course and each careful step along the byway, and has battled cancer in his / her way; yes in his / her own proud way; with no regrets and standing tall.
And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way
I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way
Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows
I took the blows
And did it my way
Yes, it was my way
