NOTICE TO ROJoson Cancer Crusaders
As of November 27, 2020 (9 days before D-Day = December 6, 2020), officially 51 ROJoson Cancer Crusaders have registered.
As I said before, I will be HAPPY if I have 50 registrants in this important and historic event.
NOW, THAT I HAVE 50 REGISTRANTS, I AM HAPPY.
BUT I KNOW I HAVE MORE THAN 100 LIVING CANCER CRUSADERS OUT THERE. I WILL APPRECIATE IF THEY REGISTER ALSO SO AS TO BE COUNTED; TO BE KNOWN THEY ARE MY CANCER CRUSADERS; TO BENEFIT FROM MY FREE PSYCHOSOCIAL THERAPY AND SUPPORT; AS WELL AS TO SUPPORT WHAT I AM DOING FOR THE CANCER PATIENTS (AN ADVOCACY OF NEED OF ONCOLOGISTS' PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT FOR THEIR CANCER PATIENTS).
If you cannot personally tune in to the virtual meet, it is enough for you to register so as to be counted as present. The whole proceeding will be telecast in Youtube and Facebook after the event. You can then watch it in your free time and learn something from it; provide yourself with some form of psychosocial support reinforcement; etc.
I REALLY WANT TO APPEAL TO ALL THOSE CANCER PATIENTS WHO TRUST ME TO BE THEIR DOCTOR TO PLS. REGISTER. I AM EMBARKING ON A "NEW NORMAL" IN TREATING MY CANCER PATIENTS - REINFORCING A MORE INTENSIVE AND MORE STRUCTURED PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS. Remember, management of psychological distress in the long run is more difficult than management of the physical pain of cancer.
I REPEAT WHAT I SAID ABOVE: I AM ADVOCATING FOR MORE ONCOLOGISTS' PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT FOR THEIR CANCER PATIENTS.

1. If you don't want other people to know your cancer journey, so be it - just register and tell me you don't want to be identified. I will respect your wish. However, let me say that the best tactic of coping is acceptance. Accept it and do not be afraid for other people to know.
2. If you are not techy, ask the help of somebody who knows. Nowadays, especially with the "new normal" because of COVID19 pandemic, everybody should know how to use the information technology gadgets and applications. Avoid using this as an excuse. If there is a will, there is a way. If you believe in the importance of the Cancer Crusaders Club activities, you will find a way.
