After graduating from BTW High School in 1966, I did not know what I was going to do. As only God will have it I had a working career in Banking where the math education I received at BTW afforded me the skills to be successful.
I was married 13 years to Tommy L. Smith. Married 21 years to the late Herbert L. Elleby we had two sons, Rodney Elleby and Derrek Elleby. Rodney has three children (2 sons, 1 daughter, and one grandson.
In 1990 I went to the Mayo Clinic and the doctors told me they could do nothing for me. I retired as Vice President totally disabled.
My Father transitioned my senior year in high school, 10/31/1965, mother transitioned 4/15/1998, and my only sibling a sister left me 6/7/2007 finally leaving me the Matriarch in the family. Late in life I began feeling a strong spirit inside encouraging me to attend seminary, but I had no degree. Therefore, I enrolled in Clayton State University the Fall of 2007 and in the Spring of 2013 I graduated with a BS in Integrated Studies with two minors Business Administration and Supply Chain Management. With this degree I was able to attend seminary. Therefore, I enrolled in Liberty University School of Divinity the Summer of 2013 and in the Spring of 2016 I received a MCM: Discipleship and Church Ministries. I am now equipped to do out reach ministries at home and a broad. I thank God for keeping me through the illnesses, the sad times, and the good times. Now I am equipped and available for Him to use me in His service. As stated in The Great Commission Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…...”
