Rose Marie Jordan-Montgomery:
I received my Bachelor of Science from Clark College (now Clark/Atlanta)
Masters of Arts and Education Specialist Degrees both from Atlanta University.
I began my Teaching career in the education of Special Needs children in the area of
Learning Disabilities for 18 years. I moved into an Administrative position serving
the capacity of a Special Education Liaison before retiring after nearly 40 years of
Service. I have taught in the Christian School setting for three years and also worked
with a kindergarten class After-School Program at Drew Charter School. I have been
divorced for several years and have no children. I am a member of New Birth Missionary
Baptist Church in Lithonia. I sang with the Total Praise Choir and ministered with the
Handbell Choir. I am very active in my Church. I suffered a Heart Attack in 2002
while singing in the Choir, but by God's grace and mercy, I survived.
