GAIL CONLEY WALTERS

After graduating from high school, I took and passed the Federal Examination for Postal Workers. I was hired and began a long career as a mail clerk.

In 1968, I was introduced to another postal worker,Robert Walters (BTW Class of 1959), who in 1969 would become my husband. This year we will celebrate 47 years of marriage. I have one child who is 45 years old.

I have been a member of "The Move of God Church" for more than 54 years.

After over 41 years of credited service, I retired from the postal service. Since I did not need nor want another job, I decided to be a care giver for three relatives.

There are many people, both old and handicapped, whose lives can be enriched by care givers.
