If a picture is worth 1000 words, then 1000 represents a picture. Your challenge should you accept is to find a landscape or cityscape picture and describe it as if you are standing there. As simple as that right?

Rules of engagement:

1. This is just for fun and completely optional

2. Post must contain 1000 +/- 10 words

3. Reference picture must be added to the bottom of the submission

4. Submissions accepted through the NRPG board

5. Contest closes Sunday, June 26 2022 @ 23:59 UTC

6. A collection of all submissions will be presented in one post on the NRPG board for voting

7. Voting will be anonymous through a Google form

8. Ribbon will be awarded in the monthly newsletter and the submission will be posted on the website

Sera barely heard it before something rubbed against her leg. The normal control of her limbic system was compromised, so she was unable to subdue the reflexive reaction of scrambling backwards to get away from the unknown stimulus. She hit the wall of the stairwell and very effectively knocked the air out of her lungs and slid down the wall to her posterior. As she scrabbled for purchase, she felt the rubbing again, only this time against her thigh, and whatever was doing it elicited a small sound.
