Dateline Friday 10 February 2017: Last week Bogglehole Bill did a dive beneath the picturesque Elvet Bridge in Durham. The city is renowned for its Norman castle and cathedral, around which the River Wear forms a languid loop and almost turns it into an island.

"I've always admired Elvet Bridge and wanted to do a dive beneath it", said Bill. "It was a great feeling to be so close to the Cathedral while I was searching for bottles in the early morning, and Candlemas seemed like the ideal time to give this a go".
