Dateline Saturday 22 June 2013: Bogglehole Bill has just completed a midsummer dive near Kirkcarrion, a Bronze Age barrow in Teesdale. His dive was in the River Lune, which runs to the east of the barrow, and features an ancient road bridge and a spectacular railway viaduct.

"It was a very picturesque location", said Bill. "The burial mound lay on a ridge to the west, while the combination of an old stone road bridge and a 19th century railway viaduct is unparalleled for a dive site".
