Each sport has an authorized equipment and uniform list that is used for inventory and orders. The list includes what and how much equipment and numbers of uniforms recommended to operate each program. Additions or deletions to the list may be requested by the coach through the Student Activities Coordinator. Requests for equipment and uniforms should be specific: brand, color, sizes, numbers, and lettering. Uniforms will be ordered on a rotational basis.
Fall 2024 – 25 School Year
Winter 2025 – 26 School Year
Spring 2026 – 27 School Year
Sports that need additional equipment or equipment replaced should submit the exact item to the Student Activities Coordinator. Do not purchase equipment that has not been approved by the building Principal or Student Activities Coordinator. No fundraising activities are to be conducted without approval from the Principal.
NO PURCHASE ORDER, NO REIMBURSEMENT!
Coaches should ensure that all uniforms are numbered and equipment is marked prior to distribution. A list of athletes who receive uniforms and equipment should be kept by the coach. Uniforms and equipment, once issued, become the responsibility of the athlete. If there is no record, the uniforms become the responsibility of the coach. All uniforms and equipment should be turned in at the end of the season. The Student Activities Coordinator should be notified of any athlete who does not return his or her uniform or equipment issued.
UNIFORM WASH AND CARE INSTUCTIONS
For Best results – Wash uniforms in cold water BEFORE they are worn to set the dyes.
LAUNDER UNIFORMS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN WORN.
Do not allow perspiration soaked garments to lay in a pile or rest folded on top of each other. This greatly increases the risk of dye/color migration. Garments that cannot be laundered immediately should be hung individually on rust proof hangers (wood or plastic).
REMOVE BELTS, PADS, ETC. IMMEDIATELY AFTER WEARING AND LAUNDER SEPARATELY.
BASIC WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Rinse washing machine before adding garments.
WHITE AND COLORED GARMENTS CANNOT BE WASHED TOGETHER.
WATER TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 110 DEGREES! Do not rely on the “warm” setting on the washer. Ground water and hot water heaters vary greatly. Be sure that you know the temperature of your water.
For best results, use a mild powdered detergent. Liquid and powdered detergents with enzymes can damage colors.
Spot treat stains whenever possible. Avoid pre-soaking but if required, use lukewarm water and a non-enzyme release agent for no longer than 30 minutes. Launder garments immediately after pre-soaking.
Water level in machine should be on the highest setting for best rinsing and less color migration.
DO NOT USE CHLORINE BLEACH. If garments are very soiled, a light application of dry oxygen based bleach is recommended.
If possible, garments should be hung to dry on rust proof hangers. If machine drying is necessary, dryer should be set on the lowest temperature setting or on air dry. Do not overload dryers.
If you have had color migration problems during washing, do not place garments in the dryer, hand then to dry. The heat from the dryer will set the migrating dyes and make them much harder to remove.
DO NOT DRY CLEAN GARMENTS! Dry cleaning can discolor garments and remove screen-printing.
DO NOT IRON OR PRESS GARMENTS! Screen-printing will melt. Rib trims will lose their stretch.
Be sure that garments are completely dry before storing. Garments should be kept in a cool, dry area, protected from both sunlight and fluorescent light. White nylon will yellow from exposure to light.
Be sure to share the above wash and care instructions with parents and athletes that handle or launder your team’s garments.
