This is an old phonograph “record player” from the 20s and 30s. This belonged to Lucille Knight Brown, Lucille taught dancing lessons when she lived in the McClanahan House. Described to the much younger set of visitors as an original “iPod” so as to get a smile. The phonograph does work when cranked up and has a vinyl record that is not worn out on it.
