Finally, found someone who could replicate the railings around the McClanahan House Museum. The rails had wood rot from the harsh elements of South Texas. It was found that the underside of the railings had not been painted and were bare. Affordable Home Solutions checked out the damage and said, no problem, “I can fix that!!” And fix it he did. He accomplished something that others said couldn’t be done without having to be rid of the railing. He also repaired a sheetrock wall that had “popped” out in the dining room area. The house unfortunately shifted and appears to have dropped ½ inch to 3/4 of an inch. The wall behind the sheetrock was solid all that was damaged was the sheetrock. He also finished caulking “some” windows upstairs that were exposed to the elements. We are extremely pleased with Affordable Home Solutions of Beeville's superior work and will be using them again for more railings after the first of the year.
