El Camino Real de los Tejas display

Are you interested in seeing relics of Bee County and Texas’ past?? The Bee County Historical Society has a display of artifacts that were found along the "El Camino de Real de los Tejas". The "Old King's Highway" traverses Bee County in the Normanna Texas area, making our county a big part of Texas history. Seeing this display is a rare opportunity for all. They are available for viewing at Historic McClanahan House 206 E. Corpus Christi St, Beeville, TX. The Dudley T. Dougherty Conference Center located in Bee County has generously allowed the Bee County Historical Society an opportunity to show these items!!! The 'old' road was traveled by the Spaniards from Mexico to Goliad and San Antonio back in the late 1700s and 1800s....come by the McClanahan House and see this awesome display soon!!!
