The first part of 2024 has been working on the Historic McClanahan House Museum, making reparations, cleaning the built-in gutter and enclosing the expose portion of the structure. Thank you to Affordable Home Solutions of Beeville for your attention to detail and for your awesome work. All this was made possible by the Joe Barnhart Foundation and we are tremendously grateful!!
In May 2024, 4XY Construction of Beeville cleaned out the built-in gutter and inspected it for damage. They did find deterioration of the metal and proceeded to seal the damage. Thank you 4XY for you diligence in taking care of this area!!

We had Afforable Home Solutions of Beeville repair the rotting railings at the Historic McClanahan House the end of 2023. They did a tremendous job and made the area a little safer for staff to put up decorations!! Thank you Tony & Michael for your excellent work!!

The 2023 Christmas Tree Forest was a great success, everyone who visited enjoyed the display. We are thankful for the Coastal Bend Community Foundation for making it possible to have people stay for the 15 days we were open!!!
The 2023 Winners of the 13th Annual Christmas Tree Forest. All the trees were gorgeous, but the "public" votes helped us to pick the ones they thought were beautiful. Thank you to EVERYONE who donated for the votes. All proceeds will help to maintain the Historic McClanahan House Museum. AND a big thank you for the food donations that will be taken to the Beeville Vineyard Food Bank, so many people brought can goods, especially the St Philip's Episcopal Church School!!! It's getting close to that time of year!!! We send this out early because it will be here before we know it. Our 13th Annual Christmas Tree Forest is gonna happen. Here is a flyer if interested, we will post it on our website for downloads this weekend. Giving you a heads up. All trees must be up by 11/30/23, no food decorations. Hope you can be part of this awesome event!!

The 2021 winners of the Christmas Tree Forest entries. We were very thankful to everyone who were able to come by and see the trees. There was no obligation to vote for a favorite tree, but know that all funds collected: $445.00 will be used for the upkeep and maintenance of the Historic McClanahan House Museum. THANK YOU ALL for your visits and donations!! We also had a social media Facebook Giving donation sight where folks donated a total of $225.00 for the December 2021 event also. Again, our heartfelt thank you!!!
