Humanities Texas Grant

In August 2021, we applied for a Humanities Texas Grant in the amount of $12,000.00 for operational costs involved in maintaining the museum. In November 2021, we received a letter telling us we had been approved for the full amount and that we would receive a check in 2022. These funds will help in a variety of ways, advertising, utilities, supplies, cleaning services, pest control, termite inspection, website revision and temporary labor for our Christmas Tree Forest event. We are grateful for the help and approval of this grant. We will be able to use it for bills that were paid out from April 2021 to the end of December 2022. Many of the issues that we will take care of would not be possible without this grant. We are grateful that we were approved.
