Being housebound with the customary common-cold, to select the weekly photographs to share, I had to go back to the pictures I had taken during 2018. But after making my initial selections, I was not sure what the common trait among them was: First I thought of the “Every Day Walk” - that is pictures taken during my regular daily walk, but most of my pictures (I would say 90-95%n0f them are of that kind). Then Carol suggested “Leisure.” That might have been appropriate, but again, a vast majority of my depictions are of that category: people having good times, enjoying themselves… In the end, I noticed that the color green was present in all of them in the form of grass, and in one case as the background wall in Somerville. Thus I decided to use the title “A little Green, A Lot of Green” for the selections of this week.

As usual, I took these pictures with FUJIFILM’s APS-C format cameras: 4 of these are taken by using X100T, a camera with 23 mm fixed lens. For 2, I used X-T10 with the 18-55 zoom, the so-called kit lens. Most, if not all resort to Classic Chrome film simulation, but for one or two, I might have switched to VELVIA for saturated greens, reds, and oranges.

The pictures I shared this week can be seen in these albums:
