Dreamy, creamy, blurry backgrounds — appear to be one of the obsessions of the newcomers to photography. I might not be an exception to this obsession, unfortunately. But maybe I am more motivated by the pleasure of manual focusing rather than relying on the precision of electronic AF.

The “classic” or “vintage” lenses I used to achieve the bokeh for the pictures I shared this week are: TAMRON Adaptall-2 SP 90mm f2.5, (my copy came ready for Canon FD mount, I had to put an FD2FX adaptor to use it with a FUJIFILM X-mount camera) and HELIOS 44-2 58mm f2 lens (which required an MK42 adaptor for FUJIFILM X-mount camera) - A Soviet-era classic.
