The Antichrist functions under the direct control of Satan and possesses all the power of Satan, performing signs and lying wonders (2 Thes.2:9). Satan gave his power, his throne and authority to the Antichrist, the beast (Rev.13:2, 4).
Revelation describes Satan as a great, fiery read dragon, the Antichrist as a beast (first beast) and the False Prophet as another beast (second beast) who exercises all the authority of the first beast.
The Antichrist has seven heads and ten horns. This means that he has seven political kingdoms ruled by ten rulers. One of his kingdoms, the last and final kingdom, was mortally wounded. This shows that a kingdom of nations under his control that believes in wars and violence was wounded by the divine judgment. His deadly wound was later healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast (Rev.13:3). As soon as his wound was healed, the whole worshipped and admired him, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? The whole world would boast that no nation on this earth could make war with the powerful kingdom of the Antichrist.
