Deity: Rakesh
Mercy: A paladin of cities gains mercies as a normal paladin of his level. Some levels introduce new mercies geared towards helping the paladin with his divine missions.
If the mercy selected is not one that the paladin would use with healing he instead expends a use of Lay on Hands to cast the spell. In this case his paladin level acts as his caster level. Otherwise this functions as normal for the Paladin's Mercy ability.
At 3rd level, the paladin can select from the following initial mercies.
Fatigued: The target is no longer fatigued.
Shaken: The target is no longer shaken.
Sickened: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as remove sickness
At 6th level, a paladin adds the following mercies to the list of those that can be selected.
Armored: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as instant armor
Diseased: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as remove disease
Dispel Magic: The paladin's lay on hands ability also act as dispel magic
At 9th level, a paladin adds the following mercies to the list of those that can be selected.
Cursed: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as remove curse
Exhausted: The target is no longer exhausted. The paladin must have the fatigue mercy before selecting this mercy.
Frightened: The target is no longer frightened. The paladin must have the shaken mercy before selecting this mercy.
Anchored: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as dimensional anchor
Poisoned: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as neutralize poison
At 12th level, a paladin adds the following mercies to the list of those that can be selected.
Blinded: The target is no longer blinded.
Deafened: The target is no longer deafened.
Thrust: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as sonic thrust
Antimagic: The paladin's lay on hands ability also acts as antimagic field
Divine Bond: A Paladin of the City may select a dog companion instead of a mount. Otherwise this functions as normal.
