INGREDIENTS
1 C. Shortening
2 C. Granulated Sugar
6 T. Milk
2 tsp. Vanilla
3 beaten eggs
5 1/2 C. Cake Flour Unsifted
1 tsp. Salt-optional
1 T. Baking Powder
DIRECTIONS- Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Combine milk, vanilla and eggs. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add flour mixture alternately with milk mixture to creamed mix. Chill several hours. Spray cookie sheets. Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness on floured surface. Cut. Keep remaining dough in refrigerator. Save all scraps and re-roll at one time. Bake at 315 degrees for 15 minutes. When cool- frost or before baking - brush with milk and shake sprinkles on top.
