A1 Positive Recycling in Exeter is looking for dynamic and committed individuals who can offer practical sound business and community advice to be part of our steering group in Exeter to eventually become board members of and alternative technology education centre for the South West we are a not-for-profit social enterprise.
The recycling venture in Exeter is looking to build up a positive management team to help lead it through the next stage in its future development.
Neil F Wintrip who came up with the not-for-profit company in May 1997 and in May 2005 he was recognised as a community champion he was awarded an Un Ltd level 1 Millennium award and a Community Dividend award from Co-ops UK.
A1 Positive Recycling aims to recycle and reuse working IT equipment, mobile phones, and the sale and recycling of ink ‘n’ toner cartridges to fund the establishment of an alternative technology education centre for the South West to support adults with learning difficulties and people from disadvantaged areas and aims to teach them practical-hands-on-skills that will educate and empower them – although all groups and individuals are welcome there will be a vetting system.
The funds will also go towards supportin the aims and objectives of the not-for-profit social enterprises that focus on primarily social objectives for the community of which we serve and positively promote positive change through social enterprise.
