A1 Positive Recycling is an Exeter Based not-for-profit social enterprise who aim to raise funds to build and establish an alternative technology education centre for the South West of England to train adults with learning difficulties and to educate, empower and fund other not-for-profits who support A1's primary social objectives to promote "Positive Change Through Social Enterprise" and "TEAM Together, Each, Accomplishes, More" Anyone who uses our shared web browser technology will help support other not-for-profits and support A1 through the purchase of our services and products, by using our environmental cleaning services, to include the purchase of high quality on-site data wiping services, Mobile phone recycling services, Ink and toner cartridges sales and recycling where our products are manufactured to the ISO 9001/14001 Certified Plant in the United Kingdom.
A1 Positive become a non-profit social enterprise in 2005. A1 Positive is registered and a fully licensed electrical, electronic recycler for working equipment to be recycled locally in Exeter and Devon.
The non-profit venture based in Exeter is looking to build up a positive management team to help lead it through the next stage in its future development.
Neil Wintrip who came up with the non-profit company in May 1997 and in May 2005 he was recognised as a community champion and was awarded an Un Ltd level 1 Millennium award and a Community Dividend award from Co-ops UK.
