A1 Positive Recycling Project is the only social enterprise based in Exeter, Devon who offer local computer recycling and computer refurbishment of working PC's, Laptops, tablets, electrical, Net-books, electronic, equipment in Exeter and Devon. We aim to establish an alternative technology education center for the South West of England, Our aim is to train adults with learning difficulties and educate, empower and fund others who support A1's primary social objectives to promote "Positive Change Through Social Enterprise"

A1 aim to use 50% of our profits to build and support an Alternative Technology Education Center for the South West of England.

A1 Positive Recycling is working to establish a funding stream through our Eco friendly services: recycling computers, laptops mobile phonesrecycy and reuse of working IT equipment, mobile phones, the sale of new ink & toner cartridges to help raise funds to the establishment of an alternative technology education center for future generations.

The center will support adults including those with learning difficulties, although all are welcome. Our aim is to teach practical-hands-on-skills, to educate and empower people of ages from 16 upwards.

Specializing in working computer, laptops and Mobile phones, Electrical equipment reuse and refurbishment for sme companies based in Exeter and Devon, under the (WEEE), we employ a qualified team of staff with a wealth of knowledge in the computer and Electronics industry.

We currently operate across the South West of England, ensuring that all legal requirements are met to reduce your local carbon footprint.

We promote proper refurbishment and commercial recycling. Outputting 0% to landfill. And ensuring a longer lifespan for your working computer and electrical equipment in the South West.

We DON'T export. We only work with local companies in the South West of England.

A1 Now operate a completely FREE collection service for education establishments, Terms and Conditions Apply. We offer our services with a very small administration charge for commercial, domestic clients from £23.99 per item. This includes Collection, Treatment and all paperwork. There are no hidden charges and no corners are cut. Our service is second to none for Working Computer Equipment only in Exeter must be no-older than 3 years old. (Terms and Conditions apply at all times).

Although we are a registered non-profit social enterprise we regularly use our profits to support the building of an alternative technology education center for the South West of England. We are happy to give donations made in conjunction to support our memorandum and articles of association available via appointment only.

A1 is a fully licensed exempt non-profit social enterprise. We currently hold the following waste license exemptions:

Site Licenses

The Environment Agency has informed us that ALL schools have been made aware of this issue but in our experience this isn't true. The license itself is £18.00 which registers your site/school as a hazardous waste producer. It is the case that many smaller schools will be exempt from this license as you need to produce 500Kg per year to require a license, that's roughly 28 CRT's. We will leave you with a Hazardous waste consignment note to ensure your compliance with WEEE regulations.
