SPX Express (SPX), Shopee's trusted logistics partner, celebrates a nationwide boost in e-commerce efficiency with the opening of the new Bukit Raja Sorting Centre in Klang, Selangor. Since January 2024, SPX has achieved a 30% improvement in delivery times for parcels travelling from Klang Valley to non-Klang Valley regions. SPX continuously improves their overall logistics network across Malaysia; 50% of customers can now receive their orders in three days or less.
On 2 November 2023, we welcomed members of the Malaysian media to a special behind-the-scenes tour of the SPX Express Sorting Center (DDR) in Pulau Indah.
We were excited to showcase our commitment to continuous innovation, new technologies, and local talent.
Our guests were also given an exclusive look at our state-of-the-art Automated Sorting Machine (ASM), which plays a vital role in our operations.
They also had the chance to speak with two of our remarkable team members: a hub supervisor and a last-mile delivery driver, both of whom are women.

A new study by SPX Express found that 1,317 Malaysian couriers are committed to building robust relationships with local communities. 87% of couriers surveyed provide trustworthy nationwide delivery services, engage with people from diverse cultures, and develop a deeper understanding of the areas they operate in. The remaining believe that their work enables local businesses to expand their market reach, which contributes to their growth and creates new job opportunities.
