The Shelby Coyotes started the season under new but familiar management with Logan Erickson's first year as head coach. Shelby is currently 3-2 with 2 losses coming against the Circle Wildcats and the Belt Huskies and wins against the Harlem Wildcats, Rocky Boy Stars, and Chinook Sugar Beeters. Cade Alexander says "We lost quite a few starters and started the season with a loss but we were able to bounce back and are now looking forward to our last two games and any after them". The Coyotes take on the St. Regis/Mullan Tigers in St. Regis saturday October 7th.
