The term 'IMS' gets used a lot in EFM, but what's it really all about?
The University is committed to delivering outstanding teaching, supporting world class research and becoming one of the most sustainable universities in the UK.
EFM needs to proactively manage its activities to support the university in achieving its aspirations. To help us do this, we use the Integrated Management System or the IMS.
The IMS provides a framework for EFM to proactively standardise processes, manage risk and continuously improve our performance. Put simply, it's the way we do things in EFM.
The IMS Handbook provides all you need to know about the IMS, how it helps the department to continuously improve its performance and the importance of your positive engagement with it.
The EFM library contains the department's controlled documents.
