Training and Development Procedure / download
This procedure document explains how to apply for training and development activities/events and how to source activities once a development need has been identified. It also details how to any required funding will be authorised and how activities will be recorded and evaluated.
Induction Procedure / download
This procedure document is aimed at line managers responsible for the induction of new staff and describes the process and timelines for induction.
Application for Training & Development / download
This form can be used by all staff to apply for a specific training and development event/activity that has been discussed with their manager e.g. a course, workshop, conference etc. It can also be used when development needs have been identified and support/advice is needed in terms of how the need can be best met.
Induction Checklist / download
This checklist is for use by line managers arranging induction for new members of staff. It is a mandatory document which must be completed and returned to the Training & Quality Manager within 21 days of a new staff member’s start date. As the title suggests this document is for use by line managers during induction on occasions where the space provided on the Induction Checklist is insufficient. The Induction Procedure document fully explains its use and the compliance requirements.
Induction Record / download
This form is for use by line managers during induction to record induction activities which take place during the later stages of any induction. Some non-mandatory induction activities may take place after the 21-day period covered by the Induction Checklist and must be recorded using this form. Technical and Professional Shared Skills Framework
