Adobe Creative Cloud Staff Licences

From Sunday 20 August 2023 there will be a change in the way how Adobe Creative Cloud Licences for staff are distributed. The following outlines those changes and the new processes that will be implemented in order to manage these.

Currently all staff at the University are automatically allocated an Adobe Creative Cloud Licence upon joining the University.  From  20 August 2023 we will be changing the way in which staff licences are allocated. Staff will not automatically be allocated a licence when joining, they will now follow a process to request a licence much like we do with many other software products we offer centrally.

The reason for this change is to help protect our IT systems and sensitive data, manage our licence allocation better and get a better understanding of what the software is being used for.  We understand that Adobe CC is critical for some roles and we would like to reassure you that they can continue to use the software.

We appreciate that there are many staff on holiday at the moment. If anyone does find that they are no longer able to access Adobe CC and they need it for work, there will be a simple form for them to fill in which will be dealt with swiftly by our Digital Workplace team to ensure access is reinstated for them.
