You can apply if you:

• Are aged 19 or under on 31st August 2025

• Are the main carer for your child

• Claim Child Benefit for the child

• The other parent can't provide childcare (e.g. they're working, studying, or not around)

• The other parent isn’t claiming childcare through Tax Credits

• Are under 20 at the start of your course

This fund helps cover childcare costs while you’re at college.

You could receive up to £180 per child, per week.
