You can apply if:

• You are aged 16–18 on 31st August 2025
  (or turn 19 during the year – you’ll still be eligible)

• Or you’re 19–24 and have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

If your household income is £30,000 and below, you may get support for:

• Travel to and from college

• Essential equipment, like uniforms, kits, books, or materials

• Trips and visits for your course

If your household income is between £30,001 but under £35,000 you may get support for:

• Travel to and from college

This fund is for students who:

• Live in a household with income under £35,000

• Are supported by someone who receives

  • Income Support

  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

  • Universal Credit

  • State Pension Credit (Guarantee Element)

• Can show they are facing financial hardship
