You must be 20 or older on 31st August 2025.

You can get support with childcare costs while you're:

• Attending college

• On a compulsory work placement

Up to £60 per child, per day

You can apply if you:

• Have a household income of £35,000 or less

• Are the main carer for your child(ren)

• Get Child Benefit for the child(ren) you're applying for

• The other parent can’t provide childcare (e.g. they are working, studying, have a medical condition, or are absent)
  

You’ll need to show proof if your partner is working, in education, or has a medical condition.
