Seacole College has had much to celebrate over the last two modules and the college leadership team continue to be proud of the many achievements of our students as they continue through this academic year. They have not only taken part in many events celebrating all cultures and have performed brilliantly in a range of challenges and events across a number of disciplines and it is with great pride that we celebrate them.
Modern Foreign Languages Breakfast - Year 9
The Restaurant was transformed into a vibrant hub of cultural exploration, as Year 9 students were treated to a special Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) breakfast event. The air buzzed with an unusual energy, a delightful blend of anticipation and the tantalising aroma of international treats. This wasn't just a morning meal; it was a carefully curated experience designed to celebrate language learning and inspire the next generation of global citizens. Students were invited to taste the delights of French croissants and crepes while also having the option to enjoy Spanish churros - a real treat to start the morning.
Made in Bluewater Challenge
Congratulations to our Seacole students who took part in the Made in Bluewater Challenge. We had both winners and runners up which shows the strength and depth of our designers in Seacole College. Well doneĀ to Lakshdepp, Precious, Lucia, Priyaa, Talia and Oliver!
Dyslexia Campaign
Keira, in year 7, was invited to London to be interviewed about her personal experiences of dealing with dyslexia. Her interview was on the Channel 4 news and she also got to meet chef, Jamie Oliver who was supporting the campaign. Keira did not only Seacole proud, but did a fantastic job of advocating for those who struggle with dyslexia and the explaining the impact that this can have on their lives.
