The winter gardens and corridors were transformed with spooky decorations and the day commenced with an inspiring virtual assembly and hands-on workshops led by the published author, Ken Preston, igniting a passion for storytelling. Throughout the day, students received their World Book Day tokens which allowed them to take advantage of either a free or discounted book. Creative spirits flourished as participants crafted unique key rings, while literary minds were challenged in the thrilling "Guess the Book" competition. To further encourage the art of writing, various writing competitions were held, allowing budding authors to showcase their talents. The day was a resounding success, fostering a love for books and reigniting the power of imagination.
