While writing is an integral component of our Humanities and Science classes, the Middle School Writing Lab is an opportunity for students to receive explicit writing instruction tailored to their individual needs. Lab exercises will focus on narrative, expository, and persuasive writing along with elements of style and craft such as grammar, tone and mood, sentence structure and variety, word choice, and personal voice. Students will also improve their cursive writing and keyboarding skills and learn to effectively use google docs and slides for independent and collaborative work.
